Houston—Marathon Oil is “pursuing every avenue” to get its condensate and crude oil to world markets, CEO Lee Tillman said Tuesday, though he stopped short of saying the company had applied to US regulators for approval permit to export condensate. “We think putting our unconventional barrels in the world open market is the right answer for producers...and we want our barrels to compete in the world market,” Tillman said during the company’s second quarter conference call. “Not surprisingly, we’re pursuing every avenue available to us to take advantage of the current regulatory environment to make sure we have the optionality to get our barrels, particularly condensate, out in the market,” he said.
