London-Swedish independent Lundin Petro- leum has made a "potentially significant" oil dis- covery at its Luno II prospect offshore Norway. Lundin found crude with the 16/4-6S exploration well in the central North Sea sec- tor of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. "The drilling ... has resulted in a potentially significant oil discovery," Lundin said in a state- ment, adding the well would now be tested.
