Shell to reassess UK Fram field after well results

London—Shell has decided to reassess its development plan for the Fram oil and natural gas field in the UK North Sea after “unexpected” drilling results from the initial development phase of the project. As a result, Shell has opted not to continue with several key contracts associated with the field, it said in a statement.
