Gazprom Neft makes first foreign bunkering buy

Mosscow-Russia's Gazprom Neft has made its first acquisition of a bunker fuel company outside of Russia with the purchase of Roma- nia-based Marine Bunker Balkan. The acquisition is part of Gazpromneft Marine Bunker's strategy to more than double its bunker fuel sales by 2020. Marine Bunker Balkan manages two bun- ker vessels, one 4,000 mt storage vessel and two mooring barges at the Romanian port of Constanta, and also leases the 1,500 mt capacity Constanta Oil Terminal, Gazprom Neft said.
