Santos posts 20% quarter-on-quarter rise in revenue

Sydney—Australian exploration and productioncompany Santos July 21 posted sales revenueof A$599 million ($643 million) for the quarterended June 30, marking a 20% increase fromthe first three months of the year. Revenue rose on the back of an 8%increase in production to 11.9 million barrelsof oil equivalent and an 11% rise in sales to14.5 million boe. Revenue was 3% higher yearon year, although production was unchangedfrom 2010.
