UK's JKX says gas output starts at Hungarian field

London-UK-based JKX Oil & Gas said August 19 commercial natural gas production has begun at the Horizon Energy-operated Haj-dunanas field in northeast Hungary at an initial rate of 3,500 Mcf/d. Horizon, a subsidiary of US company Aspect Holdings, is operator of the field with a 50% stake, while JKX holds the remaining 50% interest.
