Singapore companies take 49% stake in Chinese refinery

Singapore—Singapore-listed E3 Holdings, together with Jade Technologies Holdings, have acquired a 49% stake in an oil refinery in China, E3 said January 20. E3 Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Englo Real Estate Development, and Jade Technologies, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Jade Commodities and Resources, have formed a joint venture to invest in an oil refinery owned by Song Yuan Petro Chemical Share- holdings. The refinery is located in the oil-producing region of Song Yuan in the northeastern province of Jilin.
