hanol prices in New York continued to lag finished gasoline May 20, market sources said, suggesting a still over-supplied market that is bracing for imports.Despite shortages caused by bankruptcies and other supply dislocations, ethanol spot prices have not kept pace with gasoline. On April 1, for example, front month NYMEX RBOB settled at $1.3717/gal. It has since climbed 43.78 cents/gal to settle at $1.8095/gal on May 20.
