Spot prices for US Gulf Coast 3% sulfur fuel oil jumped 1.90 to 50.90/barrel last week,according to Platts data,as the return of Mexican utility demand and tight supplies rallied the market,sources said.A source with PMI,the trading arm of Mexican state oil company Pemex,confirmed that the company was loading a ship of 3%S fuel oil out of the US Gulf Coast region this month.Market sources speculated that the oil was likely bound for power plants in Mexico.
