The US Atlantic Coast high-sulfur resid market remained contentious on Monday.Vitol bid from 35/bbl-35.25/bbl for bunker-suitable 3%S,basis NYH by May 26.The bid snagged an Amuay 3%S cargo offer from Chemoil at 33.75/bbl,basis NYH.Delivery dates were listed as May 20-24,but many sources said the Amuay material was expected to arrive Monday evening.Vitol also showed a bid at 37.25/bbl for a cargo of 2.2%S with bunker metals with no offers.
