SUPERMAJOR Shell has farmed into Egypt's AJam El Shawish West Concession, assuming operatorship of the promising acreage after buying a 40% stake in the Western Desert play.Privately-held Greek company Vegas Oil and France's GdF gave up 20% each to accommodate Shell under the deal which has already been endorsed by the Egyptian regulatory authorities.
