The Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW) has launched a consultation on the criteria that will be used to evaluate the farm animal welfare management practices of food businesses. Later this year these criteria will be used by BBFAW to benchmark the farm animal welfare systems and performance of approximately 60 listed and non-listed European food businesses, including producers, processors, manufacturers, food retail and service companies.
