Malaysia: Exports of urea up in May and year to date

Malaysia exported 101,000 mt urea in May 2016, up by 18.1% on the prior year, with Chile accounting for 50,000 mt, up from zero. Thailand was ahead 21% to 26,000 mt, Japan was up 12.4% to 16,000 mt and Vietnam was at 8,000 mt from zero. Declines to zero were registered for Philippines (23,500 in 2015) and Australia (26,600 mt in 2015).
