US Midwest: Competion from NH3, urea hurts UAN

As some UAN distributors feared, it appears heavy ammonia pre-plant applications have cut into possible UAN sales for the emerging corn crop. The situation for UAN is not helped by more aggressive ammonia prices appearing this week. Urea prices are also lower in some parts of the Midwest.
