China: Greater imports from Australia

Chinese ammonia imports in May 2016 reached 18,983 mt, a 66% decline on the same period last year, according to GTIS. Conversely, total January-May Chinese ammonia offtake was 173,357 mt, an increase of 11% year-on-year. The majority of Chinese ammonia imports during the first five months of this year were sourced from Indonesia at 68,866 mt, a 4% decrease.
