Mediterranean: Prices assessed higher

Spot prices for sulphur cargoes of 10,000 mt or less in the Mediterranean region were assessed slightly higher on the week at $69-75/mt CFR from $67-73/mt, as sales prices have climbed and demand remains firm. Traders said that prices of up to $71-72/mt CFR were achievable on spot sales to Egypt, but buyers were not currently willing to accept prices much higher than this.
