Australia: Urea imports surge through August

Australian imports of urea from January through August of about 1.77 million mt were ahead 22.4% on the same period in 2015. Arrivals from Qatar were up 41% to 572,000 mt, Saudi Arabia was up 9% to 372,000 mt, the was UAE ahead 32% to 296,000 mt. Indonesia was up 91% to 192,000 mt, and China more than doubled to 112,000 mt.
