PotashCorp posts near fourfold drop in Q2 net income

PotashCorp posted a second-quarter net income of $121 million, a near-fourfold decrease on the $417 million reported for Q2 2015 that was partially attributed to significantly-lower prices and offshore sales volumes of its namesake nutrient. The Q2 result brought PotashCorp's net income in the first half of the year to $196 million, a heavy decrease on the H1 2015 figure of $787 million.
