Producers and traders holding length in urea for August and beyond were pleased to note numerous signs of increased demand as the week progressed. Key global buyers appear increasingly convinced that the low prices for Iranian urea provided to IPL in the July 15 tender are unlikely to be repeated from any sources in upcoming Indian sessions and in negotiated business for other markets. This is however not set in stone as yet, and the light at the end of the tunnel could still be a train.
