China: Domestic MOP prices halt decline

Chinese MOP port wholesale prices are assessed stable at RMB 1,650-1,830 ($248-275)/mt FCA following five successive weeks of decreases. Russian red standard MOP remains available for RMB 1,650-1,670/mt FCA in China while white 62% K2O product is still RMB 1,800-1,830/mt FCA. Prices had previously fallen because importers’ contract settlements with suppliers were resulting in increased domestic sales pressure.
