Philippines: Urea imports up in March but Q1 lower

Importers of urea in the Philippines received 54,000 mt in March 2016, up close to 64% on March 2015, with China up to 20,400 mt from 9,400 mt. Malaysia was down 30% to 19,000 mt while Qatar was to 14,000 mt from zero. First quarter arrivals were nevertheless down by 27% on Q1 2015 to 208,000 mt. China and Malaysia were off by 32% and 51% to 87,000 mt and 57,000 mt, respectively.
