Lack of demand will put further pressure on the price

Price levels out of the Baltic remain under pressure as the weak euro continues to impact demand in Europe. Latest indications for Terneuzen suggest that although the price is still around $550/mt FCA, there is no demand at this level and it will be reduced to reflect prices nearer $535-540/mt FCA. Eurochem is still indicating around the $570/mt FOB level for deep sea markets, e.g. Latin America but with a freight of $24/mt into Brazil, a landed price of $494/mt CFR does not appear viable when there are tonnes at far lower prices still to be had and limited demand.
