K+S net income falls 7.8% in 2014

German potash producer K+S AG saw a 7.8% fall in net income year-on-year during 2014 to ?381.2 million due mainly to weaker prices in its potash and magnesium division, the company said in its full year report. Revenues fell 3.3% to ?3.82 billion including a 7.8% fall in revenues at the company’s potash and magnesium division. Sales volumes in the division fell 1.0% during the period to 6.87 million mt and average prices fell 6.7% to ?274.1/mt, according to the company.
