Brazilian urea imports in January down more than 55%

Brazilian imports of urea as identified by customs via GTIS in January 2015 of 201,600 mt were down by 55.1% on the 449,000 mt imported in January 2014. Oman took the lead with supplies of 69,000 mt, up by 113% on the prior year. This was closely followed by Russia with 67,000 mt, down by 8%. Deliveries from Qatar of 43,000 mt were off by close to 20% while supplies from Kuwait of 12,300 mt were down by 74%.
