Israel has approved the plan submitted by the companies aiming to develop the country’s giant 22 Tcf offshore Leviathan field, US-based field partner Noble Energy said this week. The plan, authorised by the Israeli oil commission on Wednesday, envisions a subsea system linking wells to a fixed platform connected to northern Israel, Noble Energy said.
