Japanese spot LNG prices continue to slide

The average price of spot LNG cargoes arriving into Japan in March was USD 6.8/MMBtu, 10 cents lower than a month earlier, according to data published on Monday by Japan’s ministry of economy, trade and industry (METI). March’s average arrived spot-LNG price is the lowest since the trade ministry began publishing pricing data two years ago.
