Israel Leviathan plan submitted

The partners in the huge US $6.5 Bn Leviathan gas field development project offshore Israel have submitted an initial development plan to the Israeli government. The development plan is hopeful of producing 16 Bcm (564.8 Bcf) of gas a year. US-based Noble Energy and Israel’s Delek Group, tabled the plan following months of working out the best concept to develop the Leviathan field, which lies at a water depth of around 1,500m (4,922ft) and is located 130km off Israel’s Mediterranean coast.
