Cooper Basin shale flows

Santos has flowed gas from a shale gas well in PPL 113 in South Australia’s Cooper Basin. The operator said that the onshore Moomba-194 vertical shale well was flowing at a rate of around 3 MMcf/d (84.9 Mcm/d). The well was drilled to a total depth of 11,050ft (3,368m) to appraise the gas potential of several unconventional and shale plays within PPL 113.
