Italy’s Eni has made the ninth oil discovery in deepwater Block 15/06 offshore Angola – boosting the reserves of the West Hub project. The discovery was made with the Vandumbu 1 exploration well, which lies around 150km offshore. The well was drilled to a total depth of 13,475ft (4,107m) at a water depth of 3,202ft (976m).
