Subsea 7 lands Oseberg gig

Subsea 7 has been awarded a US $160m pipelay and subsea installation contract by Statoil for work on the Oseberg Delta 2 field. The contract includes the design, fabrication and installation of two insulated rigid production pipelines totalling 10km in length; the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of two flexible gas injection lines totalling 9km; the installation of two umbilicals totalling 16km; and manifolds installation and tie-in work.
