Brazil's Petrobras and Bolivia's state-owned natural gas company YPFB have signed agreements to settle outstanding payments for exports of Bolivian natural gas liquids to Brazil and to extend a gas supply deal between the neighboring South American countries. Petrobras has agreed to make a back payment of $434 million to YPFB relating to the volumes of "rich gas" that it imported from Bolivia between 2007 and 2013. Rich gas is natural gas that contains valuable natural gas liquids (NGLs) such as propane, butane and ethane.
