State companies from Oman and Abu Dhabi formed a joint venture Monday to construct a 230,000 b/d refinery in the Duqm industrial development, state Oman News Agency reported. The company will be owned 50% each by Oman Oil Co. (OOC) and Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Co. (Ipic).
