Singapore Has 5% of Sinopec

The Government of Singapore Invest- ment Corp. (GIC) holds a 5% stake in Sinopec's Hong Kong-listed subsidiary, the Chinese state oil giant said last week. It is unclear how long the Singapore sovereign wealth fund has held the shares. Sinopec disclosed the holding when it reached 5% after GIC bought 1.766 million shares on Oct. 31 at an average price of HK$7.473 (US$0.96) per share.
