Anadarko Raises Spending

Anadarko Petroleum has unveiled a capi- tal spending budget of $5.6 billion to $6.0 billion for 2011, up from $5.2 billion spent in 2010, and reiterated plans to achieve an- nual production growth of 7%-9% over the next five years. Production growth will come as Anadarko ramps up development in liquids-rich plays in the onshore US and pushes forward with the development of several large offshore discoveries around the world.
