BG to Supply LNG to India

BG said last week it has inked a heads ofagreement to supply India’s Gujarat State Petro-leum Corp. (GSPC) with up to 2.5 milliontons/yr of LNG long term. Sales could start “asearly as 2014” and run for up to 20 years, theUK gas player said. BG and GSPC expect tofirm up the deal by early next year. The LNGwould come from BG’s global supply portfolio.
