Brent Trades in Tight Range on Slow Day in Oil Markets

Crude oil futures trade was quiet on Mon- day in view of the absence of US players be- cause of the July the Fourth holiday. ICE Brent trade was seen in a fairly narrow range. After opening at $71.56 per barrel — down 9￠ from Friday’s close — the August contract traded between an early high of $72.38/bbl and a low of $71.45/bbl in the afternoon.
