Nigerian rebels are thought to have attacked an oil pipeline operated by US major Chevron in the southern Niger Delta region, shutting in around 11,500 b/d."Chevron Nigeria ... confirms that there was a breach on its 16-inch Makaraba-Uto-nana pipeline at about 0115 hours on Friday, 13 Mar., which has led to the shut in of 11,500 b/d from its Makaraba Platform in Delta State," the company said in a statement on Monday.
