Zippo to increase brass coil consumption

Zippo Manufacturing Co. expects to purchase higher volumes of brass coil in coming years to support its expanding business in China, according to a company executive.The Bradford, Pa.-based company expects its consumption of brass coil will increase about 10 percent over the next five years on top of the roughly 10-percent growth seen in the past five years, vice president of materials management David Mellon told AMM at the American Copper Council's fall meeting in Fort Lauderdale.
