Kemira to supply sodium chlorate to Brazil's leading paper producer

Klabin, the biggest paper producer, exporter and recycler in Brazil has selected Finnish speciality chemicals firm, Kemira, to supply sodium chlorate to Klabin's new 1.5 million ton pulp mill in Parana, Brazil. Sodium chlorate is used as a component in the bleaching process, an important process step in the manufacturing of bleached pulp. The new pulp mill in Brazil is the lar- gest investment in Klabin's history and will double the company's production capacities.
