Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) Senior Vice President & OSD, Dr. V.K. Rao, has made a strong case for India emerging as the next likely acolyte of shale gas revolution on account of the country's rapidly growing gas markets, its increasing dependency on LNG imports, high natural gas prices, rising energy consumption, presence of thick shale sequences and the widening demand-supply gap.
