Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) is signing a memorandum of understanding with Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for venturing into nuclear power generation business. IOC is keen on forming a joint venture and hold between 26-49 per cent stake. Mr. B.M. Bansal, Director (Planning and Business Development) said that the move would help IOC become an integrated energy company.
