India has made a formal proposal to Qatar for joining the proposed Gulf South Asia (GUSA) natural gas pipeline which passes through shallow waters,land and the deep sea be-fore it reaches the Pakistani coast.Seeking the concur-rence of Qatar's second Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Mr.Abdullah bin Hamad AI-Attiyeh on extending this pipeline to the Indian coast,Petroleum Minister Mr.Mani Shankar Aiyar has proposed sending an official dele-gallon to Qatar for detailed discussions on this pipeline project.
