Supervisory control and data acquisition system using general-purpose LAN for the factory power plants

In recent years, the computer and the communication technologies have been progressed rapidly. The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the factories have been requested to adopt new concept.Newly, we have succeeded to develop and materialize a low cost SCADA system for the factories, using general-purpose LAN devices.Outline of this system is explained as follows.
