Concerning increase in efficiency of geological prospecting for oil and gas

ZAO NPTs (closed joint-stock company Scientific-Production Center) Geoneftegaz developed a complex of geological-geophysical technologies of oil and gas forecasting. The complex includes 3D seismic survey with an irregular network of monitoring, high-resolution electric survey including measurement of induced polarization. The complex was tested in all petroliferous basins of Russia. It enables to forecast traps of various genesis, determine capacity characteristics of a collector, delineate zones of oil-and-gas saturation, recommend deep pioneer and exploratory well spud-in places. The use of the complex may assist in solving most problems of the oil and gas exploratory and production stage during prospecting and appraisal operations.
