摘要

It is well documented that sediments act as sources for contaminants such as metal in aquatic systems [1-3]. The heavy metal content of marine sediments derives from a variety of natural sources such as rock weathering of soils and rocks, soil erosion, dissolution of water-soluble salts as well as anthropogenic sources like mining, municipal waste water-treatment plants, industrial and urban wastes, manufacturing industries, and agricultural activities and etc [4-6].
