Highly reliable optical devices for optical access network using plastic molded package

摘要

A Bi-directional optical transceiver module for optical access network was developed. Small size and low cost module was realized by adopting polymer straight wave-guide, wavelength selective photo diode, and wavelength division multiplex filter. The high confidence levels of heat cycle test as much as 2000 cycles and dump heat test as long as 5000 hours was achieved.
