摘要

The influences of the amount of deflocculant, the water content, and the amount of binder on the densities of green and sintered bodies were studied to develop a slip casting technique for engineering ceramics. Low-viscosity andhigh-solid-consistency slurries were successfully obtained under the conditions of 0.6-0.9mass% deflocculant (poly-acrylic ammonium and 23-25mass% water contents. High-density green bodies relative density. 61-63%) were formed from the slurries by vacuumfiltration with porous resin mold. High-density alumina ceramics (relative density, >99%) were obtained by sintering at 1250℃ for 3.5h in air from the green bodies prepared under the slurry conditions.
