摘要

With the recent increase of Internet users and the diversity of network applications, QoS provisioning in wavelength routing network becomes more important than ever before. In this paper, we propose a QoS-based wavelength allocation method which provides QoS guarantee for connection loss probability. In this method, the pre-determined number of wavelengths are allocated to each QoS class and, in addition, two different wavelength allocation rules are adopted; one is for the highest priority class and the other is for the rest priority classes. In numerical examples, we evaluate the connection loss probability of the proposed method in ring and mesh-torus networks by simulation.
