摘要

Digital watermarking systems are required to embed information in a digital media without the perceptual distortion as well as extract it correctly from the watermarked media which may be manipulated. As one of watermarking systems satisfying these requirements, the author previously proposed the watermarking algorithm using a guided scrambling (GS) technique. As its extension, this paper provides a concept on how to embed multiple watermark sequences by using the GS technique. The geometrical interpretation of the multilayered watermark embedding is described, and the watermarking algorithm based on the interpretation is also proposed.
