Specially designed, highly wear-resistant precision compound steel liners substantially reduce the wear effect through their extremely hard and higher abrasion and corrosion resistant surface. The non-hardened base material features lower strength than the cast steel of the equipment. Thus precision compound steel liners don't only contribute to a distinct improvement of the rolling result but also to better rolling mill economy.
